Set up your AI research assistant. After this, it knows your role, your hospital and your timeline, and every day it does the clerical work so your hour goes on thinking.
3. Block your hour for the next 7 days
Before rounds, after OPD, after dinner: pick a time and put it in your calendar now. People who choose a time finish. People who "fit it in" usually don't.
Tell me your topic (replaces "Take violent action")
Reply to your welcome email with one line about what you roughly want to research. "Something in cardiology" is a perfectly good answer. I read every reply.
